Responsibilities
- Design and enhance Oracle-based systems by developing and maintaining PL/SQL, APEX, Forms, ORDS, WebLogic, and OSB components to ensure reliable integration and scalable architecture
- Conduct in-depth troubleshooting at Level 3 to resolve complex issues in applications, middleware, and database layers using detailed analysis and coordination across teams
- Improve system efficiency by tuning SQL queries, optimizing PL/SQL code, refining indexing methods, and analyzing workloads to boost speed and stability
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery preparedness by aligning system configurations with Data Guard, RAC, failover mechanisms, and recovery protocols
- Manage and execute major system changes including upgrades, data migrations, deployments, and modernization projects with controlled rollouts and rollback safeguards
- Provide on-call support for production systems, responding promptly to critical outages in a 24/7 environment to restore functionality
- Develop automation scripts and tools to simplify and standardize deployment processes, configuration management, testing routines, and routine operations
- Implement secure coding and configuration practices by enforcing authentication, access controls, data encryption, and audit logging across Oracle platforms
- Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and actively share knowledge through mentoring and team collaboration
