Responsibilities
- Oversee all operational aspects of venue, exhibition, and convention spaces as the assigned supervisor
- Deliver training programs for permanent and temporary staff members
- Ensure all team members follow established safety protocols and work in a secure environment
- Understand, adhere to, and implement the terms outlined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement
- Lead and organize training initiatives and safety programs for operations teams
- Coach staff to improve performance, address issues promptly, and collaborate with HR on disciplinary or termination actions
- Support or lead the development, coordination, and evaluation of operational work plans
- Analyze event documentation to predict staffing and equipment requirements for arena and convention events
- Coordinate technical and service logistics with concession and audiovisual partners
- Supervise and assist changeover and cleaning crews, providing support as needed
- Efficiently schedule changeover and housekeeping teams, manage shift assignments, and communicate updates promptly
- Maintain department equipment and report repair needs to the Operations Manager
- Deliver high-quality service to both internal and external clients to foster a positive workplace culture
Compensation
This role pays an hourly rate of $17.00-$20.00
