Oak View Group is hiring an Operations Staff | Part-Time | Charleston Coliseum and Convention Complex

Responsibilities

  • Take part in all phases of event setup and conversion tasks.
  • Set up and remove flooring, portable seating, movable walls, barriers, stages, tables, and other equipment and furnishings.
  • Carry out various tasks essential to daily facility operations.
  • Handle loading and unloading of equipment, move waste to disposal areas, and restock supplies as needed.
  • Support cleaning before and after events, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, vacuuming, spot cleaning, washing, stripping floors, carpet cleaning, window washing, and waxing.
  • Conduct maintenance and repair work such as painting, patching surfaces, replacing lights, ceiling tiles, and filters.
  • Assist facility engineers and outside contractors with building construction, repairs, and upkeep.
  • Report any safety issues, damages, discrepancies, or property loss to a supervisor immediately.
  • Be available for extended or irregular shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on operational needs.
  • Complete additional assigned duties as necessary.
