Requirements
- Minimum of five years of experience in data center, colocation, telecom, or critical infrastructure operations.
- At least two years of leadership experience managing technical personnel in a round-the-clock operational setting.
- Proven track record overseeing facilities with advanced electrical and mechanical systems, including UPS, generators, ATS, switchgear, chillers, and cooling infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience in multi-tenant or carrier-neutral data center environments.
- Familiarity with structured cabling, fiber and copper cross-connect procedures, and interconnection services.
- Capable of interpreting technical diagrams, including single-line drawings and system documentation.
- Demonstrated experience with change control, incident resolution, and standardized operational workflows.
- Experience supervising non-exempt technical staff with a focus on consistency, accountability, and professionalism.
- Excellent communication abilities in both written and spoken forms.
Nice to Have
- Background in colocation and interconnection-centric data centers.
- Knowledge of NFPA 70E standards and electrical safety protocols.
- Understanding of TIA-942 or BICSI guidelines for structured cabling systems.
- Involvement in capacity forecasting and tracking operational KPIs.
