Finni Health was looking for an Operations Intern

The Operations Intern will support the HR and recruiting teams at Finni Health by assisting with onboarding, content creation, data management, internal communications, scheduling, and administrative tasks. This is a remote, part-time internship lasting 6 to 12 months with opportunities for mentorship and impact on both daily operations and strategic projects.

What You'll Do

  • Support HR & Recruiting Operations by providing administrative and project support across various HR and recruiting initiatives.
  • Assist with Onboarding & Enablement Content by helping create and organize resources for new hires and the team, including drafting content for enablement videos, researching training requirements, and assisting with the employee handbook project.
  • Design & Visual Support using tools like Canva to create visually appealing materials such as one-pagers or internal communications, ensuring they are polished and professional.
  • Maintain Data & Systems by assisting with data entry and ensuring accuracy in HR systems, helping to track employee information and recruiting pipelines.
  • Support Internal Communications by helping draft and coordinate internal announcements, updates, and materials for the team.
  • Coordinate Scheduling by assisting with scheduling interviews, meetings, and internal events for the HR and recruiting teams.
  • Document Management by supporting the organization and maintenance of HR documents, policies, and training materials.
  • Conduct Basic Research on HR best practices, recruiting trends, or potential tools to gather information for decision-making.
  • Project Coordination Support by helping with the logistics and execution of small HR or recruiting-related projects, such as preparing materials for workshops or organizing team activities.
  • Provide General Administrative Support by handling various administrative tasks as required to ensure smooth People team operations.

What We're Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field; or a recent graduate in one of these fields.
  • Detail-Oriented & Organized: possesses strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail in managing tasks and information.
  • Proactive & Eager to Learn: has a 'doer' mentality; is proactive, enthusiastic, and ready to learn new skills and processes quickly.
  • Communication Skills: has excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and approachable style.
  • Tech Familiarity: proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and comfortable learning new HR or recruiting software.
  • Mission Alignment: has a genuine interest in Finni Health's mission to democratize autism care and a passion for supporting people and building strong teams.
  • Adaptable & Agile: comfortable thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment where priorities may shift.

Nice to Have

  • Some prior experience in an administrative, coordination, or support role is preferred, which can include volunteer work, internships, or personal projects.
  • Design Aptitude: an eye for aesthetics and comfort using or willingness to learn design tools like Canva for creating visually appealing materials.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: eager to assist in identifying needs and contributing to efficient solutions.

Compensation: $16-20 per hour for approximately 20 hours per week
