Responsibilities
- Work schedule runs from 2:30 AM to 9:30 AM Monday through Friday, with some weekend availability required.
- Prioritize safety as a mandatory standard by following and enforcing all safety protocols.
- Oversee the onboarding journey of new employees from their first day through the first 60 days or until they achieve qualification status, whichever occurs earlier.
- Provide practical, hands-on training to new hires and advise the Onboarding Supervisor on individual development needs, challenges, or unique situations.
- Oversee and document all on-the-floor training activities, including weekly training hours, qualification progress, attendance, turnover rates, and the development of relationships between new hires and supervisors.
- Build and maintain constructive relationships with new team members, coworkers, and leadership.
- Collaborate with supervisors, HR staff, and other coordinators to assess production workflows and evaluate new hire performance.
- Achieve key performance targets such as 30- and 60-day retention rates, complete at least two safety observations weekly, administer the 30-day GLINT survey, and meet additional metrics as assigned.
- Uphold organizational values, avoid direct line duties, prevent unauthorized movement of new hires, complete all required training records, ensure timely qualification, conduct weekly check-ins with new hires and management, communicate issues to leadership, and maintain focus on successful onboarding.
