Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is hiring an Occupational Therapist- Homecare Part B (Per Diem)

Responsibilities

  • Serve patients within an assigned geographic region
  • Deliver individualized, one-on-one therapy sessions
  • Assess patients and create tailored treatment plans following physician directives and patient-specific needs
  • Administer care consistent with professional standards, agency guidelines, and prescribed care plans
  • Train family members, home health aides, and other caregivers in appropriate therapy methods
  • Design and implement therapy programs to maintain, enhance, or restore physical abilities, reduce pain, and prevent occupational decline
  • Conduct and document initial evaluations, analyzing findings to define issues and establish diagnoses before treatment begins
  • Ensure timely and accurate recordkeeping for every patient visit
  • Monitor treatment outcomes throughout care and modify interventions to optimize results
  • Demonstrate willingness to work with older adult patients
