Responsibilities
- Conduct structured evaluations to determine how health conditions affect daily living or work capacity
- Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based reports to assist decision-making for government benefits
- Perform 2 to 5 assessments daily, varying by type, through in-person clinic visits, video calls, or phone interviews
- Gather information through attentive observation and empathetic communication
- Review and interpret clinical records and supporting documents
- Write detailed reports ranging from 3,000 to 4,000 words
- Provide clear clinical reasoning to inform policy decisions for the Department for Communities in Northern Ireland
- Maintain ongoing professional development regarding health conditions and their impact on daily functioning and employment
