- Establish service level indicators, objectives, and alerting methodologies to enhance system reliability.
- Improve mean time to detection and mean time to resolution using data-driven monitoring and alerting.
- Deploy forward-looking monitoring, anomaly identification, and predictive alerting to prevent user-facing issues.
- Utilize artificial intelligence for IT operations to correlate alerts and enable smart incident handling.
- Connect observability tools with continuous integration and deployment pipelines, cloud platforms, and IT service management systems.
- Partner with engineering, product, and operations units to define observability standards and operational preparedness.
- Guide teams in adopting observability best practices and lead organization-wide implementation.
