Responsibilities

  • Provide primary care to patients, including diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and injuries.
  • Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Educate patients on health management and preventive care.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Perform physical examinations and health assessments.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Provide health education and counseling to patients and their families.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical practices.
  • Administer immunizations and other preventive care services.
  • Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare providers.
  • Manage chronic conditions and provide ongoing care.
  • Conduct health screenings and preventive care services.
  • Provide patient education on disease management and self-care.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Participate in patient care conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings.
  • Provide care to patients across the lifespan, from infants to the elderly.
  • Perform procedures such as suturing, casting, and wound care.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of healthcare policies and protocols.
  • Provide support and guidance to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in community health initiatives and outreach programs.
  • Conduct research and stay updated with the latest medical advancements.
  • Provide care to patients with acute and chronic illnesses.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during medical procedures.
