Shape the future of industrial automation by designing intelligent firmware for next-generation valve control systems. In this role, you'll lead firmware development across the entire product lifecycle, translating customer and market requirements into robust, scalable embedded solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Design, code, test, and troubleshoot firmware for embedded systems using C and C++
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and marketing teams to define and refine product requirements
- Review peer code and technical designs to maintain high standards of quality and reliability
- Analyze component datasheets and schematics to ensure accurate integration
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry standards to inform product evolution
- Support long-term product planning and contribute to engineering process improvements
- Help define project timelines and resource needs for new development initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical field
- Strong foundation in embedded systems and real-time operating systems (RTOS)
- Proficiency in C and C++ programming with experience in firmware implementation
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, including schematics and component specifications
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Organized approach to problem-solving with strong time management
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
Preferred Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on firmware development
- Experience with Modbus and HART communication protocols
- Familiarity with configuration and defect tracking tools
- Background in object-oriented design and UML modeling
- Experience using C# in embedded or supporting applications
- Working knowledge of structured software development processes
