Requirements
- Expert knowledge in implementing a pre-integrated system such as Dell EMC, VxBlock and Vblock and VxRail
- Experience assessing and designing networks for enterprise systems that are distributed and require a high degree of encryption and security.
- Experience in network design, development, and implementation.
- Experience in establishing and maintaining appropriate security configurations and controls for all network components
- Experience in designing, planning, installing and maintaining adequate disaster recovery capabilities to meet the production support needs of the business.
- Experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, authentication and identity management systems, and log management
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Experience in creating high level design documentation
- Experience working with 3rd party vendors to resolve network, voice, and security issues as needed
- Experience and ability to work with IT staff for job shadowing and knowledge transfer
Nice to Have
- Ability to communicate technical concepts in clear, easy-to-follow manner.
- Experience implementing and/or supporting a SIEM solution
- Experience with cloud hosting
- Experience implementing standards – IRS Publication 1075, NIST 800-53, and others
- Cisco Certification is desired, CCIE, CCDE, or CCNE
