Responsibilities
- Design and update custom SuiteScript solutions using SuiteScript 2.x.
- Manage and update existing custom records, forms, workflows, and scripts.
- Produce clean, efficient, scalable, and well-documented code.
- Adhere to recommended NetSuite development standards.
- Ensure custom features remain functional and compatible with future NetSuite releases.
- Investigate and fix technical problems impacting NetSuite operations.
- Diagnose issues related to SuiteScript errors, workflow breakdowns, form malfunctions, and performance bottlenecks.
- Conduct root-cause analysis to address recurring technical problems and apply lasting fixes.
- Respond to user-reported issues and deliver timely resolutions.
- Provide support for technical issues affecting financial processes, billing systems, and reporting functions.
- Detect, prioritize, and resolve bugs in custom NetSuite components.
- Test and verify bug fixes prior to deployment.
- Monitor custom scripts for errors, execution failures, and governance limit violations.
- Help ensure the overall stability and dependability of the NetSuite platform.
- Deploy customizations across Development, Sandbox, UAT, and Production environments.
- Follow defined testing and change control procedures.
- Track and manage custom code versions using version control systems.
- Oversee deployments to confirm successful rollout with minimal business disruption.
- Troubleshoot problems related to third-party systems integrated with NetSuite.
- Support the upkeep of API connections and resolve data sync issues.
- Assist in testing after integration updates or changes from external vendors.
- Collaborate with external NetSuite partners when advanced technical expertise is required.
- Keep detailed technical records for scripts, customizations, integrations, and deployment activities.
- Document changes to code, bug resolutions, troubleshooting steps, and system setups.
- Produce clear documentation to aid future maintenance, issue resolution, and team knowledge sharing.
