Design and implement web applications using Optimizely CMS and the .NET framework, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business goals. Translate requirements from stakeholders and designers into functional, maintainable code while maintaining a strong focus on user experience and system performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and customize content types, templates, and data models within Optimizely CMS to support dynamic content delivery.
- Develop integrations with internal and third-party systems using RESTful and SOAP-based services.
- Optimize front-end and back-end performance to ensure fast load times and efficient resource usage.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to CMS behavior, content rendering, and system stability.
- Apply secure coding practices and ensure compliance with data management standards.
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to implement responsive, accessible interfaces.
- Support content authors through training, documentation, and technical guidance.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to team knowledge sharing, and assist junior developers when needed.
- Maintain accurate records of configurations, customizations, and development workflows.
- Report progress and technical challenges to project leads and stakeholders.
Required Experience
- 3–5 years of hands-on development with .NET and Optimizely (formerly Episerver).
- Strong command of C#, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases, including Cosmos DB.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services and deployment pipelines.
- Proficiency in Git and version control workflows.
- Understanding of agile development principles and iterative delivery.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and deliver effective technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working directly with clients to shape application architecture.
Preferred Background
- Certifications in .NET or Optimizely CMS platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Azure App Services, Azure DevOps, and cloud-native deployments.
- Track record of delivering enterprise-level CMS implementations.
