Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with sales teams, leadership, and executives within the SHI organization.
- Act as the main local contact for SHI, ensuring regular in-person presence at SHI offices in the Austin area.
- Interact directly with SHI executives on-site to strengthen high-level relationships and support strategic initiatives.
- Conduct in-depth assessments to learn SHI’s structure, goals, sales segmentation, and seller motivations.
- Design and implement joint strategic business plans with SHI, including shared sales, marketing, training, and certification targets.
- Deliver on-site sales training, enablement workshops, and field support to improve SHI sellers’ product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Plan and run tailored partner events such as lunch-and-learns, executive briefings, and co-hosted customer events to generate leads and registered deals.
- Lead efforts in incentive, SPIFF, and rebate programs by collaborating with program teams, promoting participation, and measuring outcomes.
- Promote and track deal registrations and channel-generated sales pipeline, aiming to meet or exceed performance goals.
- Align regional sales teams with SHI counterparts to ensure consistent field engagement and relationship development.
- Lead account mapping sessions between internal sales teams and SHI sellers to build measurable, channel-driven sales pipelines.
- Work with marketing to coordinate joint campaigns that support business goals and deliver measurable returns.
- Coordinate with SHI and internal leadership to secure executive support and conduct quarterly business reviews.
- Encourage SHI to use the partner portal for accessing marketing tools and demand generation resources.
- Support direct sales and customer success teams when needed to maintain strong partner relationships.
- Track partner performance using key metrics and provide updates on forecasts, competition, and market trends.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and maintain accurate pipeline forecasts within the SHI channel.
- Develop expertise in specific channel functions such as deal registration, account planning, or incentive platforms, and share insights across the team.
- Keep detailed and up-to-date records in Salesforce.com.
- Ensure SHI adheres to partner agreements and engagement guidelines.
- Travel as needed to SHI offices, industry events, and company meetings, including frequent local travel in the Austin area, up to 50% of the time.
