Culina Group is hiring a Multi-Skilled Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on production equipment.
  • Identifying and resolving any potential issues before they cause failures.
  • Respond rapidly to machinery breakdowns, diagnose the problems and perform repairs or report back to engineering team leader if external specialists are required.
  • Carry out machine adjustments, Size changes, machine settings when mods are made. This is to help support the production function.
  • Monitor and Calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy, quality, and safe standards are met.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance i.e. PPM schedules, Shift Reporting etc.
  • Adhere to health & safety guidelines and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • May from time to get involved with project work to get equipment back up to standard which would assist in helping production performance figures.

Requirements

  • Experience in conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance on production equipment.
  • Ability to identify and resolve potential issues before they cause failures.
  • Ability to respond rapidly to machinery breakdowns, diagnose problems, and perform repairs.
  • Ability to carry out machine adjustments, size changes, and machine settings when modifications are made.
  • Ability to monitor and calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy, quality, and safe standards are met.
  • Ability to keep accurate records of maintenance including PPM schedules and shift reporting.
  • Adherence to health & safety guidelines and compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Familiarity with maintaining packing equipment.
  • Experience of pneumatics
  • Experience with horizontal flow packers
  • Experience with vertical form fill baggers
  • Experience with carton erectors
  • Experience with multi-heads
  • Experience with gluing systems
  • Experience with metal detectors/check weighers
  • Experience with X-ray
  • Experience with various bespoke hand packing/labelling lines some with printers

Work Arrangement

On-site

Additional Information

  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm rotating
  • Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (DOE)
