The Monetization Analyst plays a central role in shaping how Leaply understands and acts on data. You'll work directly with operational leaders to identify inefficiencies, uncover hidden patterns, and implement intelligent systems that improve performance across payments, support, and user engagement.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the complete data pipeline—from extracting and structuring raw data in BigQuery to delivering reliable, actionable insights across the organization.
- Build predictive models to detect and prevent fraud, reducing financial risk and improving trust.
- Create detailed behavioral segments to assess customer value, predict churn, and guide retention strategies.
- Design and maintain automated dashboards that monitor key metrics for Payments, Support, and FirstLook, ensuring teams have real-time visibility into system health.
- Investigate root causes behind transaction failures, routing inefficiencies, and operational delays, delivering data-backed recommendations for improvement.
- Lead the integration of AI and large language models into core workflows, including intelligent ticket routing, automated classification, and proactive fraud detection.
- Partner closely with operations leads to ensure analytics directly inform process redesign and business growth initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- At least two years in data or operations analytics, ideally in fintech, SaaS, or fast-moving startups.
- Expertise in writing efficient, complex SQL queries using advanced constructs like CTEs and window functions.
- Proven experience visualizing data in Tableau, turning technical findings into clear, digestible insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with product analytics platforms such as Amplitude and a solid grasp of funnel analysis and unit economics.
- Ability to translate data discoveries into practical business actions and strategic guidance.

- Curiosity about AI and machine learning, with a hands-on attitude toward experimenting with automation tools.
