About the Role
The technician will provide mobile maintenance support for HVAC and related systems across various facilities, ensuring optimal performance and client satisfaction through timely and effective service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and maintain HVAC systems in commercial buildings
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Respond to emergency service calls in a timely manner
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Document service activities and work orders
- Operate service vehicles and transport tools and parts
- Follow building codes and manufacturer guidelines
- Calibrate control systems and thermostats
- Install new HVAC components as needed
- Troubleshoot refrigeration and cooling systems
- Maintain accurate maintenance records
- Coordinate with property managers and clients
- Adhere to company safety protocols
- Use hand and power tools safely
- Support energy efficiency initiatives
- Handle refrigerants in compliance with EPA standards
- Work independently in various weather conditions
- Complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes
- Assist with plumbing and electrical repairs
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies
- Follow up on client feedback and service requests
- Participate in training and certification programs
- Ensure work areas are clean and safe
- Escalate complex issues to senior technicians
Compensation
