About the Role
Guide the development and deployment of machine learning models that power voice modulation and behavioral analysis. Manage technical direction, mentor engineers, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver scalable, low-latency AI solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of machine learning systems for real-time audio processing
- Define technical roadmaps and prioritize model development initiatives
- Mentor and grow a team of machine learning engineers and researchers
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate AI features
- Ensure models meet performance, latency, and quality benchmarks
- Oversee data collection, annotation, and pipeline infrastructure
- Drive innovation in voice synthesis, voice conversion, and speaker identification
- Evaluate and adopt new frameworks and tools for model training and deployment
- Maintain model versioning, testing, and monitoring practices
- Balance research exploration with product delivery timelines
- Ensure ethical use of voice technology and compliance with privacy standards
- Present technical progress to stakeholders and leadership
- Troubleshoot model performance issues in production environments
- Optimize inference efficiency for client and server deployment
- Stay current with advancements in deep learning and audio AI
- Foster a culture of experimentation, code quality, and technical rigor
Nice to Have
- Advanced degree in machine learning, signal processing, or related field
- Publications or contributions in speech or audio AI research
- Experience with voice conversion or text-to-speech systems
- Familiarity with voice anti-spoofing or speaker verification
- Knowledge of behavioral modeling from voice data
- Experience with edge deployment of ML models
- Background in real-time communication platforms
- Open-source contributions in ML or audio processing
