About the Role
Design and implement machine learning solutions to solve real-world problems using large-scale data. Work closely with engineers and product teams to integrate models into production systems and improve system performance through iterative analysis and optimization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and train machine learning models using structured and unstructured data
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy models into production environments
- Evaluate model performance using statistical methods and refine as needed
- Identify patterns in data to inform product development decisions
- Optimize data pipelines for model training and inference
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to support hypothesis generation
- Maintain documentation for modeling processes and experiments
- Stay current with advancements in machine learning techniques and tools
- Support A/B testing initiatives to validate model impact
- Work with data engineers to ensure data quality and availability
- Translate business requirements into technical modeling tasks
- Monitor model behavior post-deployment for accuracy and drift
- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
- Contribute to the selection of appropriate algorithms and frameworks
- Improve model interpretability for stakeholder understanding
- Assist in scaling machine learning infrastructure
- Use version control for model and code management
- Apply best practices in data privacy and security
- Collaborate on feature engineering efforts
- Support the creation of dashboards for model performance tracking
- Engage in root cause analysis for model underperformance
