Requirements
- Provides technical support to the team responsible for a subset of business systems applications
- Assists in the formulation of procedures and best practices for users of applications
- May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 3 years or equivalent experience in the field or in a related area
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
- Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Performs a variety of tasks
- Works under general supervision
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
- Proposer should be comfortable with working both in a group and independently
- Tasks can include software installations, deployments, configuring, troubleshooting and documenting as well as other application support activities
- Proposer needs to have basic knowledge of a Windows server environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with middleware application server, including WebSphere and JBoss
- Experience with webservers including IIS and Apache
- Good communication and documentation skills
