Responsibilities
- Maintain and support infrastructure and services hosted on AWS
- Manage Microsoft components such as Active Directory and Domain Controllers
- Provide support for Remote Desktop Services (RDS) on Microsoft platforms
- Monitor system performance and availability across infrastructure, applications, and services
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to servers, infrastructure, and applications
- Engage in incident response, root cause analysis, and implementation of preventive measures
- Automate routine operational tasks using scripting tools
- Utilize monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and fix issues
- Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, security, and development teams
- Document system configurations, operational processes, and troubleshooting methods
Requirements
- Proven experience in outsourcing or outstaffing environments serving external clients
- Minimum of 5 years working with AWS and DevOps technologies such as Terraform, Git, and Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (RDS)
- Administrative experience with Microsoft systems including Active Directory and Domain Controllers
- Solid understanding of infrastructure support and troubleshooting methodologies
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team setting
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with SQL and databases, including RDS, and basic database concepts
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Datadog or Grafana
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash or Python
