Eleks is hiring a Middle Automation Test Engineer to join our Quality Assurance Office. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and executing automated test strategies for an AI Platform and associated custom projects.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and execute UI test scripts using Python and Pytest with Selenium or Playwright
- Design, script, and execute API/Web Service test scripts
- Collaborate with the manual team to identify and review candidate test cases for automation
- Assist in creating and maintaining a structured, reusable test approach to clearly show scope and coverage to stakeholders
- Exercise a Risk-Based Business Driven test approach
- Generate clear test reports and dashboards integrated into the Automation CI/CD pipeline
- Analyze execution failures leading to test updates or bug reports
- Share ideas on automation approaches to establish a common way of working
- Provide realistic time estimates for analysis, scripting, and execution to create executable test automation schedules
- Set up your test environment and deploy new releases to maintain an operational environment
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of software quality assurance experience
- At least 2 years in UI test automation for web applications and hands-on API/WebService testing
- Strong programming experience in Python, Pytest with Selenium and/or Playwright
- Good knowledge of test design techniques and methodologies like ISTQB® or TMap Next®
- Experience in setting up and maintaining a modular, reusable, and data-driven test automation framework
- Experience with Jenkins, Kubernetes, and CI/CD
- Upper-Intermediate level of English (written & verbal)
