Elevate and Delegate is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our remote team. You will play a key role in our financial operations, ensuring accurate billing and reimbursement. The ideal candidate has a strong background in medical billing within the U.S. healthcare system and is fluent in both Spanish and English.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and submit accurate insurance claims via electronic and paper billing systems
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resolve billing issues with payers
- Post payments and reconcile patient accounts
- Manage patient billing inquiries and process statements
- Maintain and update billing records and documentation
- Coordinate with the front office and clinical teams to ensure clean claim submission
- Stay current with payer policies and compliance regulations
- Assist with reporting and audits as needed
What We're Looking For
- Must enjoy working on a team and meeting via Google Meet and Google Chat frequently
- Google Workspace proficiency is required
- 2+ years of medical billing experience, preferably within the U.S. healthcare system
- Strong understanding of insurance verification, coding, EOBs, and appeals
- Fluent in Spanish and English (both verbal and written)
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and reliable
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently in a remote environment
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of physical therapy or outpatient billing
- Familiarity with EMR systems and billing software (PromptEMR experience a plus)
