Immiland Canada Inc. is hiring a Mechanical Engineering Technician

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of engineering designs, drawings, and specifications using both traditional methods and computer-assisted design (CAD) software.
  • Conduct basic mechanical testing and evaluation of machines, parts, and materials under supervision.
  • Help create designs for manufacturing tools such as molds, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
  • Support inspection efforts for mechanical systems and construction-related projects.
  • Take part in setting up, repairing, and maintaining mechanical equipment and machinery.
  • Develop maintenance standards and schedules, and supervise mechanical operations in plant environments.
  • Document daily tasks and complete work orders accurately and on time.

Requirements

  • Completion of a one- or two-year post-secondary program in mechanical engineering technology is typically required.
  • Five years of hands-on experience in a mechanical engineering or related technical field.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently while contributing effectively within a team setting.
  • Familiarity with health and safety protocols in technical and industrial environments.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory for clear communication.

Compensation
