The Mechanical Designer will create, model, and refine mechanical systems using various CAD platforms across industries such as mobility, electrification, consumer goods, and heavy industry. This role involves close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and direct engagement with clients to support product development and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Create 2D and 3D designs and technical drawings using multiple CAD platforms for clients in sectors including transportation, recreational vehicles, high-tech, and industrial manufacturing.
- Design mechanical parts and complex systems of varying types and applications.
- Transform conceptual ideas into functional designs and advance their development.
- Conduct on-site visits to client locations and provide direct support during product development phases.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of technical specialists across disciplines.
- Serve as a technical resource and advisor for clients on mechanical design matters.
Requirements
- Strong interest in mechanical design and technical problem-solving.
- Proficient in CAD software such as CATIA V5, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Autodesk Inventor, and PTC Creo (Pro/Engineer).
- Enjoys working in product development environments.
- Willingness to travel for short, medium, or extended durations.
