Responsibilities
- Assist with daily monitoring efforts and evaluate M&E data to measure project performance relative to set targets.
- Work with Venn to align the M&E plan with the organization’s overarching framework and data infrastructure.
- Lead training for data collection staff and support field teams on updates to reporting tools and data accuracy protocols.
- Supervise external data collection vendors to ensure submissions are accurate and delivered on schedule.
- Perform regular data quality audits, detect inconsistencies, and guide enumerators on corrective steps.
- Support the development and validation of Master Scorecard components, including indicator alignment and data verification.
- Prepare concise reports and summaries that highlight key insights, patterns, and recommendations for program enhancement.
- Offer frontline technical assistance to field teams on data inquiries and resolve issues with custom mobile data applications.
- Provide contextual input on Rwanda to inform tool adaptations and translation into local languages.
- Engage in community site visits, validation exercises, and feasibility studies to support expansion decisions.
- Assist in designing, deploying, and analyzing community needs assessments and baseline surveys to guide project planning and adaptive management.
- Gather, analyze, and report community feedback to strengthen accountability and foster learning between program teams and participants.
- Help document and share lessons learned, impactful outcomes, and effective practices to support scaling and replication.
- Contribute to planning review processes by providing data insights for performance evaluation and decision-making at project and cluster levels.

Reports operationally to the Project Manager in Tanzania and receives technical guidance from the Senior Data Collection & Integrity Officer at Venn/RTV. Collaborates regularly with Venn, Planning & Design (P&D), and field implementation teams.

- Travel required: Up to 30%.
- Direct reporting: Project Manager (Tanzania) – responsible for operational oversight.
- Technical supervision: Senior Data Collection & Integrity Officer (Venn/RTV) – ensures M&E standards, tool compliance, and data integrity.
