Responsibilities
- Conduct independent threat hunting and evaluate unusual network and system activities in a continuous security operations center.
- Work with other analysts to study and investigate new cybersecurity threats, serving as a point of contact for complex intrusion analysis.
- Create incident analysis reports and coordinate with various business units and clients to resolve issues.
- Assist in designing and implementing operational processes to enhance the overall efficiency of the security operations center.
- Provide detailed threat and vulnerability analysis based on security events across multiple customer environments.
- Set up test lab environments to investigate emerging techniques and contribute to the internal and external knowledge base of threat operations.
- Examine sandbox technologies to identify additional indicators of compromise from artifacts discovered during analysis.
