Responsibilities
- Work during first shift hours from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Handle printed sheets, folded signatures, labels, or in-process products by feeding, removing, flexing, jogging, or stacking as needed
- Manually load and unload materials onto pallets, trays, racks, and shelves
- Load materials into trucks and secure them with strapping, bracing, or padding using hand tools to prevent damage
- Transport materials from storage or work areas to designated locations using hand trucks, electric dollies, or similar equipment
- Count, weigh, and document the number of material units handled or moved on daily production records
- Attach identification tags or labels to materials, or mark relevant information directly on containers
- Bundle materials and secure them with bands using a banding machine and clincher
- Occasionally operate automated machinery, industrial trucks, or electric hoists to assist with material movement
