Responsibilities
- Feeds, removes, flexes, jogs, and stacks printed sheets, folded signatures, labels, or other work-in-progress items to and from assigned equipment
- Loads and unloads materials manually onto pallets, trays, racks, and shelves
- Transports materials between storage areas and workstations using hand trucks, electric dollies, or similar equipment
- Counts, weighs, and logs the number of material units handled or moved on daily production records
- Applies identification tags or labels to materials, or marks relevant details directly on containers such as cases or bales
- Stacks and groups materials into bundles, securing them with banding tools and clinchers
- Occasionally operates automated machinery, industrial trucks, or electric hoists to support material movement and loading tasks
