DeepL was looking for a Marketing Operations Director

DeepL is hiring a Marketing Operations Director to drive strategy for our marketing technology and operations, ensuring a reliable and scalable engine for growth. You will lead a high-performing team to optimize operations, leverage analytics for actionable insights, and maximize the ROI of our programs, directly impacting pipeline generation and revenue.

What You'll Do

  • Lead strategy, selection, integration, and optimization of the marketing technology ecosystem to enable scalable growth.
  • Establish a robust measurement framework to monitor campaign effectiveness, funnel performance, and marketing ROI.
  • Leverage advanced analytics and automation, including AI, to optimize demand generation and enhance the customer experience.
  • Drive operational excellence through streamlined marketing workflows, campaign execution processes, and lead management.
  • Partner with Sales, RevOps, Product, and Customer teams to ensure alignment across revenue-generating functions.
  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing operations and analytics professionals.
  • Objectively analyze and secure budgets for marketing technologies, while measuring adoption, usage, and ROI.

What We're Looking For

  • 12+ years of experience in marketing operations, growth operations, or related fields.
  • At least 7 years in a leadership role at a SaaS or high-growth tech company.
  • Deep understanding of the marketing technology ecosystem, including marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, ABM tools, and BI tools.
  • Proven experience managing full-funnel marketing operations across both B2B and B2C channels.
  • Expertise in marketing operations and analytics, with a proven track record of success in B2B environments.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong personal impact and the ability to present to and influence senior leaders.
  • Experience building and scaling operational teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Ability to create highly flexible plans in a dynamic setting with numerous dependencies.
