Responsibilities
- Campaign Leadership: Drive marketing campaigns for a broad list of fiction and nonfiction titles, combining big-picture planning with hands-on digital and social execution.
- Author & Agent Collaboration: Partner closely with authors and agents to develop customized marketing campaigns that reflect each author's vision, connect with readers, and support their publishing goals.
- People Management: Manage and mentor 2–3 marketers, supporting their growth while collaborating with the Senior Director on team development and department initiatives.
- Insights & Optimization: Turn audience insights, market trends, and sales data into actionable strategy, setting clear goals and refining tactics to improve performance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner across editorial, publicity, sales, consumer marketing, publishing, and leadership to align priorities, maximize opportunities, and deliver cohesive marketing campaigns.
