Samsung Electronics America, Inc. was looking for a Marketing Communication Senior Manager

Samsung Electronics America is hiring a Marketing Communication Senior Manager to lead the development and execution of integrated marketing communication strategies for new products. You will maximize marketing impact, provide consistent direction to related departments, and manage agency relationships to achieve business goals.

What You'll Do

  • Develop the new product's integrated communication strategy and marketing KPIs in accordance with business and product strategy.
  • Provide consistent goals and marketing directions to related marketing departments such as PR, digital, media, and campaigns.
  • Lead the development of clear Vision, Strategies, and Plans to build brand Awareness, Preference, and Differentiated Equity for the assigned business.
  • Understand and influence the Product Business Group on Product Portfolio, Pricing Strategies, and the annual business initiative calendar.
  • Develop strategic marketing leadership on Brand Communication and Local Initiative Launch Communication.
  • Lead a functional team to develop and execute holistic initiatives via IMC development and execution.
  • Lead local adaptation or creation of ATL and BTL initiatives based on an in-depth understanding of local consumers.
  • Manage effective communication with Business Heads, HQ, and RHQ to resolve issues and share Best Practices.
  • Develop gap closure plans together with Product Marketing to deliver the business goal.
  • Develop, train, and coach your team in strategic marketing, brand building frameworks, and soft skills.
  • Manage Agency Relationships and the development of the annual ‘scope of work’, conducting bi-annual agency reviews.

What We're Looking For

  • A degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, or an equivalent field.
  • At least 8 years of relevant marketing experience.
  • 4-5 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience in strategic marketing and managing people.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Brand Building.
  • Strong Marketing Planning, decision-making, and Execution capability in a fast-paced electronics or FMCG industry.
  • Ability to travel on short notice.

Team & Environment

You will lead a functional team and report to Business Heads, HQ, and RHQ.
