Hire Hangar is hiring a Marketing & Business Administration Virtual Assistant

Role Overview

We’re seeking a Marketing & Business Administration Virtual Assistant to help streamline operations in a creative, fast-paced remote environment. You'll play a key role in organizing marketing workflows and supporting core administrative functions, ensuring systems run efficiently across onboarding, accounts, and internal processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle onboarding logistics including setting up Google accounts, managing access permissions, and configuring shared drives and tools
  • Support marketing execution by tracking campaign timelines, coordinating tasks, and managing asset delivery schedules
  • Perform light design tasks using templates for promotional materials, social graphics, and basic formatting updates
  • Keep internal documentation up to date, including SOPs, checklists, and recurring operational workflows
  • Organize calendars, document meeting notes, and track follow-up actions across marketing and project teams
  • Assist with vendor invoices, purchase requests, and routine business administration
  • Ensure consistent file naming, folder structure, and digital organization across shared platforms

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience working remotely, ideally with teams based in the US or UK
  • Proficient in remote collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, and project management platforms like Asana
  • Background in administrative or operations support with exposure to marketing functions
  • Strong skills in managing Google Workspace environments, including access controls and shared drive management
  • Ability to create and edit visual content using Canva or similar design tools
  • Clear, proactive communication style and a meticulous approach to detail

Preferred Background

  • Experience working with creative agencies, design studios, or content-focused businesses
  • Basic familiarity with spreadsheet reporting using Google Sheets for dashboards or summaries
  • Exposure to CRM platforms or email marketing tools such as HubSpot or Mailchimp

Work Arrangement

This is a fully remote role. Candidates must be able to align with US time zones (EST through PST) for collaboration and meetings.
