Responsibilities
- Support order fulfillment by gathering and preparing items from inventory for shipment.
- Help keep warehouse areas organized and ensure accurate stock levels of products and customer-provided materials.
- Contribute to employee training and ongoing process improvement initiatives.
- Select and package various printed items using multiple packing methods as required.
- Follow precise instructions to carry out standard packing tasks consistently.
- Prepare finished goods by assembling them into shipping containers or boxes.
- Use computers and warehouse management systems to track and manage inventory.
- Complete auxiliary tasks such as labeling packages, inserting manuals, and handling final product units.
- Verify that correct shipping details are applied and shipments go out on schedule.
- Position, label, seal, and tag items in bundles, on pallets, or within storage units.
- Meet defined benchmarks for both productivity and quality in daily tasks.
- Recognize operational issues and escalate to supervisors for resolution.
- Take part in ongoing employee and temporary worker training programs.
- Count and categorize product components accurately.
- Handle printed sheets, folded sections, labels, or work-in-progress materials by feeding, stacking, or aligning them as needed.
- Move materials manually by loading and unloading them onto pallets, trays, racks, or shelves.
- Load freight into transport vehicles and apply restraints like straps or padding to prevent damage.
- Transport items from storage or work zones to designated locations using hand trucks or electric dollies.
- Occasionally operate industrial trucks or electric hoists to move heavy loads.
- Support special assignments or handle intricate customer-specific orders when needed.
- Assist in upholding warehouse safety and security protocols.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as directed by supervisors.
