Responsibilities
- Evaluate and care for animals with medical conditions or injuries while advising pet owners on preventive health practices
- Lead a team of two to four veterinarians by demonstrating high standards of medical care and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols that support both patient well-being and exceptional client service
- Champion organizational culture and core principles among staff and clients
- Guide veterinarians in improving clinical abilities and performance across key areas including medical quality, client satisfaction, collaboration, documentation, and productivity through regular feedback and development discussions
- Work closely with the Member Experience Manager to strengthen cooperation between clinical and client service teams
- Partner with the Head Nurse to promote transparent communication, ongoing professional growth, and a culture of excellence
- Oversee controlled substance management, supervise drug and supply orders, and ensure DEA recordkeeping complies with established procedures
