Responsibilities

  • Achieve utilisation target
  • Act as an Ambassador for Wipro tenets and values
  • Be account focused and effective as a leader in the business
  • Serve as Program Manager or equivalent and manage teams of consultants/work streams/projects/programs
  • Be client focused and tenacious in approach to solving client issues and achieving clients objectives
  • Demonstrate the experience of a ‘well rounded’ consultant
  • Be flexible in approach and ability to coordinate resources with expertise in various areas
  • Be responsible for budgets and assuring quality of deliverables
  • Be seen as a trusted advisor to senior clients and secure great feedback from client executives and sponsors
  • Be decisive and directive with delivery focus and demonstrate both hard and soft skills
  • Coach, mentor and motivate team and client staff
  • Build trust and confidence through focus on quality and delivery
  • Ensure high levels of individual and team utilization in line with the levels expected as part of the goal setting process
  • Manage a personal sales pipeline to support revenue targets (personal and practice)
  • Manage a revenue target as agreed with manager
  • Sell laterally and vertically to a number of clients
  • Regularly identify leads and convert them into opportunities and proposals
  • Maintain an effective network of client contacts at executive buying level
  • Lead sales activities and meetings
  • Lead marketing and prospecting activities to populate the sales funnel
  • Close new projects and/or project extensions with minimal partner support
  • Proactively seek opportunities to develop revenue in existing and new areas
  • Drive proposal creation and presales activities for the engagement/new accounts by leveraging Wipro’s global footprint and end to end consulting capability
  • Be recognised as an industry thought leader and ensure thought leadership is shared with GCG/Wipro
  • Lead assignment team thought leadership
  • Ensure case studies and track records are utilized across Wipro in sales efforts
  • Present Wipro thought leadership at external industry forums and sales campaigns
  • Demonstrate the monetization of own thought leadership through pipeline building
  • Continually deliver all Wipro admin in a timely manner (timesheets, appraisals, expenses, etc.)
  • Make demonstrable contribution to internal initiatives
  • Hold people accountable for leveraging IP and knowledge assets from the central knowledge repository of Wipro and GCG and promote reuse
  • Ensure engagement teams effectively contribute tools, methods and assets, information sources and IP to the knowledge management platform
  • Work to develop and improve practice policies, procedures, frameworks, etc.
  • Create reusable IP/assets and make self visible as a thought leader
  • Manage line team career development through use of internal processes - training, performance assessments, etc.
  • Monitor and help curtail talent attrition
  • Demand engagement with other consulting and delivery teams to enhance collaboration and help design and deliver tailored client solutions with desired impact
  • Be highly visible in the consulting community resulting from sharing industry trends, developing solutions, applying innovation, authoring published content
