Responsibilities
- Join and be instrumental within the Google Alliance team
- Set direction and take responsibility for successfully achieving an outcome or deliverable
- Lead a development team or provide centralized expertise across multiple teams
- Lead higher level architectural discussions
- Own the overall DevSecOps process across one or multiple teams
- Build strong principles and put robust methods and patterns in place
- Be one of the main points of engagement between the client and the project
- Coach and mentor the team
- Play an active role in technical account management
- Design ingenious GCP-enabled solutions and services for clients across industry sectors
Requirements
- Pragmatic understanding that building a platform is only part of cloud engineering
- Ability to clearly communicate with clients and peers about technical issues and solutions in written and meeting/workshop contexts
- Confident problem solver and troubleshooter
- Confident and generous in sharing specialist knowledge, ideas, and solutions
- Know when a platform is 'fit for purpose'
- Constantly learning and able to make others better by consciously teaching and unconsciously inspiring
- Obsessed with ensuring PA’s reputation and credibility is always regarded at a remarkably elevated level
- Unafraid to initiate corrective actions if PA’s reputation is not at the desired level
- Expertise in architecture
- Comfortable leading higher level architectural discussions
- Experience with DevSecOps processes
- Comfortable having regular conversations with clients
