Responsibilities
- Foster a motivated and inclusive team environment with a constructive and supportive culture
- Serve as a mentor and source of encouragement, promoting teamwork within the group and with external partners
- Collaborate with team members to define clear goals and monitor ongoing progress
- Prepare and deliver thorough performance evaluations
- Oversee and contribute directly to design projects as needed
- Uphold high standards for design quality, including compliance with brand and accessibility guidelines
- Lead design review sessions to align with key stakeholders across product, engineering, and occasionally medical, legal, regulatory, and compliance teams
- Develop strong cross-functional partnerships, particularly with Engineering, Product, and other departments, often requiring influence without direct authority
- Promote a culture of creativity and cooperation centered on user needs and positive end-user experiences
- Take initiative in addressing challenges or opportunities within the team, driving effective and well-executed solutions
- Be recognized as a trusted leader whom others turn to for strategic guidance and decision-making
Work Arrangement
Hybrid — Salt Lake City, UT, California, Utah, Ohio
Other
Travel 4 to 6 times a year to meet with the team, visit Myriad offices (California, Utah, or Ohio) and participate in user research visits.
