Role Overview
As the Manager, Product Application Engineer, you will serve as a key technical resource for Non-Volatile Memory (NVM) solutions, focusing on EEPROM and ReRAM technologies. Your expertise will support customer design efforts and inform product development to meet evolving market demands across automotive, industrial, and consumer sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main technical contact for customers, interpreting system-level needs and performance expectations.
- Support integration of EEPROM and ReRAM devices into customer designs, including debugging and performance tuning.
- Create application notes, reference materials, and training content for internal and external use.
- Convert customer feedback and market insights into actionable product specifications and documentation.
- Partner with engineering teams in design, validation, and testing to ensure product features meet application requirements.
- Develop evaluation platforms, reference designs, and solution kits to accelerate customer adoption.
- Collaborate with marketing and field teams to shape positioning and highlight technical differentiation.
- Contribute technical expertise to go-to-market planning and promotional initiatives.
- Evaluate industry trends and competitive products to identify innovation opportunities.
- Advocate for new product concepts and feature enhancements based on field intelligence.
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline. A minimum of seven years in applications or product support roles—ideally with NVM technologies such as EEPROM or ReRAM—is required.
Essential knowledge includes memory architectures, serial communication protocols (e.g., I²C, SPI), and embedded systems. Experience with circuit design, PCB layout, and mixed-signal systems is critical. Strong communication skills are necessary for technical customer engagement and presentations. Some domestic and international travel may be required.
Preferred candidates will have worked in automotive, industrial, or telecommunications applications and possess knowledge of IC packaging and electronic measurement methods.
