About the Role
This role leads a team responsible for enhancing the effectiveness of the group benefits sales force by managing support systems, improving processes, and ensuring timely delivery of sales-related services.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team focused on sales support operations
- Oversee the implementation of tools and technologies used by sales teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align support services with sales objectives
- Identify opportunities to improve sales efficiency and customer experience
- Manage performance metrics and reporting for sales support functions
- Ensure accurate and timely distribution of sales documentation and proposals
- Support onboarding and training initiatives for sales personnel
- Coordinate responses to requests for proposals and client inquiries
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of group benefits products and underwriting guidelines
- Work closely with IT to enhance sales support platforms
- Drive process improvements to reduce administrative burden on sales staff
- Monitor compliance with regulatory and internal policy requirements
- Provide leadership during system transitions or major project rollouts
- Serve as a primary point of contact between sales and operational teams
- Develop dashboards and reports to track sales support performance
- Manage vendor relationships related to sales support tools
- Ensure consistency in sales materials and messaging
- Support special projects related to sales strategy and execution
- Facilitate communication between regional sales leaders and central operations
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Evaluate new technologies to enhance sales productivity
- Standardize sales support practices across business units
- Assist in budget planning and resource allocation for the team
- Respond to escalated issues from sales teams promptly
- Ensure data integrity in sales tracking systems
