Responsibilities
- Leads HR initiatives for management and staff at the Logan, UT site
- Aligns HR strategies with business objectives in areas such as staffing, compensation, training, safety, and organizational development
- Promotes active employee engagement across all organizational levels
- Collaborates with management to establish and implement short- and long-term employment strategies including recruitment, training, promotions, and succession planning
- Supports positive workplace relations, effective internal communication, and management consultation
- Ensures adherence to federal, state, and local regulatory requirements
- Upholds the organization’s Open Door Policy to encourage transparency and trust
- Administers company policies, procedures, regulations, and contractual agreements
- Manages Affirmative Action Plan requirements and compliance for assigned locations
- Oversees local workers’ compensation claims, unemployment claims, and training programs in line with company and legal standards
- Completes additional assigned tasks as needed
