About the Role
The role involves delivering natural-sounding Malay voice recordings and evaluating voice output quality to enhance AI models' understanding and generation of spoken Malay.
Responsibilities
- Record spoken Malay phrases and sentences following specific pronunciation and intonation guidelines
- Deliver performances that reflect regional variations and colloquial expressions in Malay speech
- Review and rate AI-generated Malay voice samples for clarity, accuracy, and naturalness
- Identify mispronunciations, unnatural phrasing, or errors in synthetic speech output
- Follow detailed instructions for tone, pacing, and emotional expression in recordings
- Contribute to the development of voice datasets used to train machine learning models
- Ensure recordings meet technical quality standards for audio clarity
- Provide linguistic insights to improve the realism of AI voice responses
- Complete tasks within defined timelines while maintaining high accuracy
- Collaborate with project leads to refine voice training protocols
- Adapt vocal delivery to suit different contexts such as casual conversation or formal speech
- Flag inconsistencies or cultural inaccuracies in voice content
- Maintain consistency across multiple recording sessions
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Use provided tools and platforms to submit voice samples and evaluations
- Participate in periodic feedback sessions to improve task performance
- Stay updated on project-specific guidelines and updates
- Handle sensitive data with confidentiality and integrity
- Contribute to improving AI's understanding of Malay phonetics and prosody
- Support the creation of inclusive and representative voice datasets
