About the Role
The technician will handle preventive maintenance, respond to service requests, and ensure all facilities remain in safe and functional condition.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and maintain heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests
- Perform routine property inspections
- Repair or replace damaged fixtures and equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety and building codes
- Maintain accurate maintenance records
- Troubleshoot mechanical and structural issues
- Assist with landscaping and exterior upkeep
- Install new components as needed
- Follow work order procedures efficiently
- Support emergency maintenance operations
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors
- Monitor equipment performance
- Conduct preventive maintenance on HVAC systems
- Ensure proper operation of fire safety systems
- Maintain clean and safe work environments
- Use hand and power tools safely
- Follow company protocols for repair completion
- Report recurring maintenance problems
- Assist with move-in and move-out unit preparation
- Perform minor carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies
- Adhere to environmental and safety regulations
- Support energy efficiency initiatives
- Communicate professionally with residents and staff
