Responsibilities
- Leads staff in executing large-scale painting efforts and completing structural fixes to building components including masonry, wood structures, and interior fixtures.
- Manages personnel responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems and plant infrastructure.
- Reviews finished projects to verify alignment with technical drawings, project specs, and quality benchmarks.
- Creates work timetables and assigns tasks to team members based on operational needs.
- Communicates organizational policies to team members and ensures adherence to established guidelines and procedures.
- Identifies operational issues and supports staff in resolving technical or workflow challenges.
- Supports construction of new facilities and modifications to existing structures through planning and execution phases.
- Ensures production machinery is maintained to minimize downtime and submits requests for necessary tools and supplies.
- Develops and manages preventive maintenance protocols and delivers training to support effective maintenance practices.
- May oversee groundskeeping tasks such as lawn care, landscaping, leaf cleanup, and snow removal, as well as custodial operations.
