Responsibilities
- Lead maintenance activities for all plant equipment, including production machinery, refrigeration, HVAC, and utility systems.
- Implement reliability strategies using Root Cause Analysis and Reliability-Centered Maintenance principles.
- Improve maintenance planning and scheduling to minimize unplanned downtime and increase operational efficiency.
- Assess and propose equipment upgrades, replacements, and process enhancements.
- Collaborate with procurement to oversee parts inventory and critical spare management.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop maintenance leads and technicians.
- Assign tasks, track performance, and enforce accountability across the maintenance team.
- Promote a workplace culture rooted in safety, collaboration, and ongoing improvement.
- Deliver technical expertise and hands-on assistance for complex equipment issues.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, Good Manufacturing Practices, and regulatory standards.
- Advance a proactive safety mindset through training, policy enforcement, and leadership example.
- Maintain a secure and efficient working environment for all staff members.
- Manage and refine a comprehensive Preventive and Predictive Maintenance program.
- Use ERP and CMMS platforms to record maintenance actions and track asset histories.
- Track key performance indicators such as equipment reliability, Overall Equipment Effectiveness, downtime, and maintenance costs.
- Apply data analysis to identify opportunities and lead continuous improvement efforts.
- Oversee diagnosis and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Support equipment installation, commissioning, and modifications as needed.
- Ensure rapid resolution of equipment problems with minimal disruption to production flow.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of maintenance logs, work orders, and service history.
- Ensure complete documentation of repairs, preventive maintenance tasks, and equipment records.
- Report performance results and improvement projects to senior leadership.
