About the Role
The position is responsible for carrying out all maintenance mechanic duties in a safe and efficient manner while supporting various plant operations when major issues arise.
Responsibilities
- Ensures all maintenance mechanic tasks are completed safely and to established standards.
- Conducts scheduled preventive maintenance on assigned equipment as directed by maintenance supervisors or lead hands.
- Provides support to other plant departments during significant operational problems, including Fabrication, Slaughter, Material Handling, Rendering, and Tannery.
