Responsibilities
- Operate and calibrate various auxiliary binding machines equipped with multiple cutting heads, control panels, or integrated components such as inkjet systems, mailing units, case builders, folders, cutters, collators, stitchers, drills, and binding or gluing equipment
- Set up and run automated bindery systems with multi-function stations, including power-driven cutters, collators, gatherers, folders, and speed binders, often linked electromechanically to form a complete finishing line
- Conduct safety inspections on machinery and report any hazards or malfunctions
- Run automatic adhesive binding systems (perfect binders) that process collated sheets or signatures through stages including vibration, milling, surface roughening, glue application, covering, and stacking finished products
- Adjust and synchronize multiple workstations within a single machine to ensure seamless operation
- Lead and guide team members through all production phases
- Track product quality, production volume, and operational efficiency
- Perform additional tasks as directed by supervisors
Compensation
$20.15 per hour plus $2.00 hourly shift differential
Work Arrangement
Second shift, approximately 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
