Responsibilities
- Construct the foundational robot-learning software stack from scratch
- Develop infrastructure for training, data flow, simulation, model design, and deployment processes
- Integrate multi-modal sensing, environmental understanding, and learned movement generation into a cohesive system
- Establish machine learning systems including training pipelines, experiment tracking, data version control, and reliable sim-to-real workflows
- Train control policies for manipulation, mobility, and their interconnected whole-body dynamics
- Execute high-precision tasks on legged robots where arm movements affect balance and require real-time compensation
- Apply techniques such as behavioral cloning, diffusion models, flow matching, and reinforcement learning for action generation
- Operate with collaborative robots, industrial robotic arms, and mobile robotic platforms
- Roll out systems incrementally using a phased deployment strategy to build confidence in production environments
- Ensure each real-world robot operation contributes data for ongoing model refinement
- Engage in daily collaboration with mechanical, perception, and robotics engineers, as well as manufacturing specialists
- Rotate across internal teams to gain broad exposure and support cross-functional development
