Responsibilities
- Develop and manage end-to-end machine learning workflows including data intake, feature engineering, model training, deployment, and performance tracking on AWS infrastructure
- Adapt and expand existing tools from the Sydney AICV team to support artificial intelligence use cases in the US insurance domain
- Create and maintain internal frameworks and utilities that accelerate experimentation and increase development efficiency
- Connect disparate systems by integrating internal and third-party APIs to enable seamless data and model interoperability
- Work closely with data scientists to understand their processes and convert requirements into robust, scalable technical implementations
- Ensure system architecture enables fast iteration without compromising on stability, data security, or long-term scalability
- Coordinate with technical product managers, API developers, and platform teams to transition models into production environments
- Support collaborative software development through version control practices including branching, pull requests, and peer code reviews
